Hi

I'm looking at setting up a kitchen and wanted a small tv to put in it.

Masterlink is optional ( although nice to have )

With the 6-22, 6-23 and 6-26, which of these tvs are true HD?

I am guesisng that in some models, the tv screen itself may be able to run HD, but the internals may not process the signal at HD levels.

Some of the tvs seem to have 1280x720 which is technically HD, but there is no mention of it as HD in B&O literature. Although I have seen the 6-23 advertised second hand as HD and non-HD models.

6-22    1280 x 720

6-23     1366 x 768

6-26      1280 x 768

Thoughts welcome.

Thank you.

I've got a 6-22 and personally i REGRET to not have choose a Beocenter 6-23...apart of the design (for sure the coloured grille of the BC 23 is way better looking than the black fret of the 6-22) thep anel of the 6-23 si ahead of the old Samsung panel of the 6-23.

It's not only a matter of Hd and no-HD,is the brightness and the contrast...that on the 6-22 (being a 1st generation panel) lacks....compared to a 'modern' LCD.

Trust me, you do not need "HD" on a 26" and definitely not a 23" screen.

I bought a BC6-23 for the kitchen, at the start of the year. I watch everything in HD on my BV10-46. SD on the BV10-46 looks awful. You could never watch a game of SD football on the 46" screen.

The BC6-23 looks *better* in SD. SD programmes are better rendered on the 23" than the same programme on a HD channel. I often turn on both the BV10-46 in the other room, and the 23" in the kitchen, showing a HD channel. Looks a bit odd on the 23". I end up switching to BBC 2, rather than BBC HD.

Having owned BV7s, a BV10, BV8 and a BC6, I'm more than happy with the BC6. The 23" screen is excellent quality, primarily due to the size.

So you think a  BC 6-23  Standard Definition    could be the go then?

We have a bv6-22 with a Free view box in the kitchen and a bc6-23 in the bedroom with a free view hd box. The bc23 is stunning on every format and looks stunning. The bv 6-22 is ok but dark and very soft compared wit the bc23 which is bright, full of colour and pin sharp.
