I have been using Meosound5/Beomaster5 on a PC for years, but they stopped servicing Beoonnect when Windows10 was rolled out. So I just bought a MacBook Air and have downloaded Beoconnect. It downloads and automatically detects the Beomaster in the "Detected Products" which I then ass to "Product List" as I should. I then right click the Beomaster and is aske for the password for the Beomaster. I enter it and it states "Could not connect to the B&O product. Please check IP address/computer name, password or network connection". Well, it detected the computer name (i.e. Beomaster) itself so it must be right, the password is right too (with 99% certainty), and I guess the network connection is OK too as it detected the Beomaster automatically....? AAny advice is highly appreciated.

Forget Beoconnect and try mapping the Beomaster 5 music to a drive on the mac;
