Hi,

Hope somebody can help me. I know there is a way to do it but i can't remember how...

The idea is that my BS9000 is set in 1 room  with 2 Passive speakers in a other room the 2 other passive speakers, there connected in parallel. All these speakers are connected to the Passive link.

I want to put the IR Receiver in the second room so i can also operate in that room..

At this point i connected the passive link with the BS900 via the masterlink but its only possible to operate via the IR receiver..

I want to be able to operate my system in de 2 rooms. but i can't find the right A.opt / L.opt settings

There are nog active speakers connected in the whole system..

what am i doing wrong ?

Kind regards

K

Welcome to Beoworld!

Your post is a little unclear; have you got a Beolink Passive (amplifier) in each room, with ML connected to both?

Thanks !

My 4 speakers are connected to only 1 Beolink passive.  This in the first room

hope this makes sense.

Kind regards

Ideally you need to buy a second Beolink passive:

One for the main room, controlled by the IR sensor built into the BS9000.

The other in the second Room, controlled by the seperate IR sensor.

The suggestion above will give true independent control of Vol, Bass Treble etc.

I think that if you only use one passive, the IR sensor that is plugged into the Passive over-rides the BS9000 with the result that you an only control the system from the one room.  I suggest you look for a second hand Passive on eBay, and add it to your system - you will need to connect an additional ML connector with a junction box.

1 BS9000 - ML - BLpassive - 4 Beovox.

Wil work with ir receiver connected to BL passive for all speakers.

BS9000 automatically set to A.OPT 0 if no Powerlink is connected.

There is a workaround but wouldn`t help, because you can`t control the BL passive connennected via ML through your B9000.

Maybe connecting two ir receivers to BL passive would work, but again, not separated.

This has nothing to do with option settings

Thats a pity, i was hoping there was a other way that the BS9000 & the IR sensor where active at the same time Sad

Kind regards
