Look at what Philips are bringing out. Supposedly sold exclusively at the Apple store.
Very Cool!!!
Too long to list....
Yes dude,
I love it!!! I think it's an amazing idea and will DEFINITELY be buying them for my lil crib.
I always loved my little LC2 and this goes a whole lot further. Great idea PLUS I love the way I can arrive home to all of my lights on after a long day travelling at work or indeed an evening at the gym :)
Ah dudes,
There might be a better idea. This project was started several months ago. LIFX is an Australian company which will be producing a LED light bulb that has wifi in each bulb. An adapter plugged into a switch will not be needed. I have ordered several bulbs.

As you can see from my previous post, I am a supporter of the kickstarted.com project. There are a lot of great ideas coming from kickstarter and some bad ones too. I have also ordered a Pebble watch which I think is awesome. Pebble can control your iPhone using bluetooth. The amazing thing about Pebble is there will be an SDK for developers to develop their own Pebble watch app. Beowatch anyone? I think it may come in Orange for Paul W. I am getting an extra Pebble watch in red.

I love the fact that it's exclusively sold at Apple stores and at Apple.com, but there's an app available for Android :o)
Linder that is a truly wonderful project. LED lighting is a very exciting project for the house!!! Wonderful that it is getting to the stage were my iPhone will control everything.
Henrik, Apple stores have a four month head start and then the Philips system will be sold at other stores as well!
Paul, I would like my iPhone to start my car down in the garage!

Oh wow Razlaw, have you bought it already! How fab!
Philips is one of the greatest company in electronics but I found this idea completely stupid.
When I see the price and the lifetime of a bulb.
I already bought led bulbs and their lifetime wasn't like advertised.
I prefer using my money in order to improve my electrical system.
This is just a gadget , a "chinese like" gadget.
I am not surprised that apple fans like it. :)

Mood lighting has been around for decades. In a contemporary building, mood lighting can be truly wonderful. It isn't expensive when you realise that a B&O LC2 which is simply a dimmer switch is over £120+ plus a decent aromatherapy candle is around £50 each for a similar effect. But as with everything, it's all personal choice and opinion.
I can't seem to find any on the European market, and I suppose the American stores sells 110V versions only??
Does anyone know, if it works with the beo6?
