SH4 was the first shaver. Produced from 1948.SH4 was the 220V version, there were also other versions for 110V (SH5) and even for 6V (SH6), 12V (SH12) and 24V (SH24). A long-hair trimmer was an optional extra. I have one but must admit to have never tried it.
Other models were SH7U, SH8U and SH510. The latter was the last model and as the model name suggests, produced in 1955.
Here: SH4, SH7 (SH8 was an improved version of SH7, but is almost similar in appearance) and SH510:

This shaver looks so ancient, lol! I'm not sure how many hours it would take me to shave with it. I don't mind seeing these vintage pieces, and in a way, I admire them a bit. It was not that easy back in the day to shave and maintain a neat look like a gentleman. I'm pretty sure a lot of cuts and injuries were part of the process. The manscaping definition, which is something normal to talk about, probably didn't exist at all. I think as men in 2021, we have so many tools to make our life easy. I use Backblade to shave my back which is a disaster otherwise. This would be impossible 200 years ago.
I’ve read somewhere that B&O made a special blue collection for the royal family, is that correct?
