I spotted this Ebay - USA listing today. I thought the platter looked too shiny in the first picture. Taking a closer look I see that it is upside down. The question is why?

1. The seller doesn't know the correct orientation (even though they claim this is a freshly restored Beogram).

2. The correct side has too much damage to show so they thought the underside looked better.

I suppose I should send them a message and let them know their pictures don't show the correct orientation :-).

Hopefully the seller and the restorer are two different people...
