Hi - can anyone advise re the following?

I've a Beolab 3500 in a multi room set up - and the clock is showing as one hour away from the actual time. I am not aware of any way you can directly programme the Beolab clock itself - I believe the time shown comes from the master unit in the system?

I have a Moment / Horizon set with a NL ML Converter which has integrated into a multiroom set up all of my various older ML products - which includes a Beovison 8-32.

So the question is - which is the master unit driving the clock's time no the 3500 - if it's the Moment / Horizon I'd expect these to have their time updated automatically as their online items - if it's the Beovision 8 I can't seem to find the menu option to allow for the time to be altered.

Any thoughts / suggestions gratefully received

thanks v much

I´m quite sure its neither of the units you mentioned that sets the time.

It was a while since I had the NL/ML converter, but I recall that it has a clock.

Can you check what time the NL/ML converter is set at?

To access the Web  Interface  in  the  BeoLink  Converter  NL/ML:

Connect  a  computer  directly  to  the  BeoLink Converter  NL/ML  via  the  Internet  Browser  -  IP-address: 169.254.11.22.-  Disconnect  the  mains,  reconnect  the  mains  and  wait  until  the  LED  indicator  behind  the socket  panel  cover  stops  flashing  green.  -  Enter  the  IP-address  in  the  Internet  browser.-  The  default  user  name:  ‘admin’.-  The  default  password:  ‘admin’.

No computer at hand:

Connection via an iPad/iPhone:

An iPad/iPhone can be used to access the Web Interface in the BeoLink NL/ML Converter.

- Open the Internet Browser on the iPad/iPhone (‘Safari’).

- Enter ‘BLC-’ followed by the BeoLink Converter NL/ML serial number: [BLC-XXXXXXXX.local].‘

You should be able to see he time there.

I used to have this problem, and I never got to the bottom of it.  It just went away after a while.  However, in hindsight, it went away after my BLC was decommissioned by a lightening strike.  I think you guys are on to something...

On old ML systems, the clock was set in the Video Master (if there was one connected) or the audio master.

Your system comprises BeoVision 8, BeoVision Horizon and BeoSound Moment and none of these models have a clock hence there is no menu on any of your products to set the time.

In this instance the time has to be set within the NL/ML convertor. In addition the correct time zone has to be set to ensure the hour automatically adjusts for daylight saving.

Hope that helps.
