Does anyone run their 11 using the TV speakers as fronts with a sub and rear surrounds? Thoughts if so.

I have Lab 3s as fronts at the mo but thinking of removing to clean up the lounge as wife moans they look unsightlyIndifferent

Classic example of henpecking, I am tempted to say —— don’t give in!

P.S. Sure that would work.

But you will loose the center speaker and have a much more narrow sound stage at the front. (Internal speakers of the BV11 must be set as R/L)

If it is worth it, you must know ;-)

I have it set now without the 3s. For normal viewing it seems ok. I guess it will be films that we will lose out on.

She is pretty cool really, just has a bee in her bonnet over this Wink

The BV11 is a tv with an extraordinary good sound as is - when assisted from the sub, it should be even better than ok.

It is just that I would be missing something taking the BL3’s/fronts away - maybe even more on music listening.

This also - of course - would be dependent on the room, size etc.

But you’ve tried it, and if it seems fine, it’s the way to go in your case.....

....I guess ;-))

What about changing the 3s for 12s at the front and use the 3s for rears ?

I can confirm that. I have a BV11-46 with a BL11. Really nice sound.
