Hi

My BG4002 is playing and working well, however I have noticed that the tonearm when playing moves towards the tracking arm - they start of parallel and then gradually it gets closer to tracking arm. It sounds fine and I am wondering if it is a simple adjustment or something that can wait till I get the 45rm trimmer changed.

I cant seem to find anything in the manual or various threads, other than it maybe the belt?

Hi,

Adjustment is very sensitive, but not that difficult.

If the arm moves ever so slightly then it can wait till you re-open the deck.

If the arm deviates too much then don't use the Beogram (not good for the tip), or do the adjustment as per service manual.

You have a PM.

If you haven't already go through this Beogram 400x thread. It covers a lot of different problems and adjustments.

In the meantime stop using the Beogram because you can damage your cartridge with the tracking not functioning properly.
