Hi guys. A question for Eclipse owners regarding external HDD for recording. I have had several different portable drives connected and all of them are making high pitch noises from being constantly read by the TVs software. It is driving me nuts. Have anybody experiencing the same? I have also tried to connect a USB flash drive instead but the TV tells me that it does not support it for recording Erm..

Have you tried if the Eclipse will accept a SSD? It is also an expensive solution should I want 500 gigabyte.

I use a regular hdd by seagate, an ultra slim model, so i think there is a 2.5” hdd in the enclosure. I don’t ever hear it unless i pull the cover of the back and keep my head behind the tv to listen
