B&O / Palm Beach, FL. Tiny shop in CityPlace. If you can't survive in ultra wealthy Palm Beach, where can you??
I remain optimistic - plenty here tell me everything is still tickety-boo.
Ban boring signatures!

That is incredible. Similar to St Paul's in London or Bath here in South West UK - so many people who live here are your typical B&O customer. 50-something, lots of spare cash, likes tradition, etc.

Thanks mate..
I saw the Coming of the End when they moved from a much larger space up the block. A store smaller than your average Manhattan studio apartment just doesn't project the proper ambiance, not to mention makes it impossible to demonstrate large speakers.
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Chris Townsend:We popped in there a few years ago. Very nice chap but the shopping centre just didn’t say hi end audio to be honest. Apart from the Beolab 50s, they’ve got nothing I want anymore.

More concerning, they’ve got nothing new to entice people anymore. I’m sure I’m right in saying we’ve gone an entire year without a release or rumour?
I remember us discusssing the Eclipse months (from Easter 2017?) before it was officially announced. No one is discussing anything now. It’s a round-robin discussion of old products, updates and whether we should buy them or not!

elephant:@Michael H. @Moxxey Sadly for me the vibe has gone; maybe others as well.

I think it's obviously safe to say I agree with you.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.

B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
KMA:If you read my post right, I'm pissed because I'm still passionate about B&O. They were an integral, delightful part of my daily life for over 20 years – with must-have (lust-have) products every year during that time. And it all just worked & brought immense joy & entertainment to me – Like No One Else (today, that's just a tagline). KMA B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
KMA:A SoundBar and a new audio streamer / interface to replace the Moment are possibly coming, and the successor to BeoLab 3. A SoundBar with a motorized stand/base and a pole with Vesa compliant adapters to attach any TV (BYOTV concept) would probably bring in new customers to invest in B&O audio , the competence they still have left! Some will argue that it would not be a B&O design, to which I would argue that B&O has unimaginative, incompetent and innovation-deprived designers! BL 3 replacement in the price segment that's somewhere there in the BL18 ballpark, with the audio principles of BL90 & 50 – oh yes, thank you! A BeoLab 30. As for an audio hub, I would even go for a BS Core in a nice aluminum (B&O style) housing I'd like to have on display. Maybe with micro-perforated aluminum top or front to show the source that's playing – in simple B&O style. The brand and design should be shown, not a plastic box you want to hide! I really liked the tactile aluminum of BeoCenter 2. To suggest I should drive a pair of BeoLab 50 or future BL30 with a hide-it-away BS Core is an insult to what B&O used to be. A Google Wifi Mesh AP is better designed than the BS Core and something I like to have on display. It's also subtly informative with its lights! All of these would interest me: someone who hasn't been inspired to buy any new B&O since BeoVision 11 – but someone who's owned most of their 90's - 2000's products up to BeoVision 11. Maybe I'm in the minority, and B&O is doing fine with their current crop of new customers & the products they offer today. B&O Play FTW! /s KMA B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
St Pauls isn't exactly the same. When that mall opened there were a lot of high-end shops which have subsequently closed in favour of cheaper options. I don't know if the rent was simply to high because the owners got greedy. I guess they thought there was a big enough market near the stock exchange to justify high rents but most people working in that area who do shopping during their lunch-hour are more likely to be on £40k than £400k. Now it's mostly bog standard clothes places and a few bars/restaurants for the after-work crowd.
