I saw these pictures on Instagram, I couldn't believe it. Not much one can say really but disbelief.

I can just imagine how they will get bleached by the sun and the wind blowing dirt on them. I just couldn't do that ever.

I am quite confident in saying that the owner of this system is significantly wealthier than me.

This is a matter of to much money and no taste. I would have used a lift, more elegantWink

Without the trashcans...Cool

if I had the space and money I would do the same, why not?

My 2 cents

I agree with hungerdu in that anything is achievable with funds in place. However, I do find this is a rather tacky attempt at providing sound in a garden. It just doesn't work for me. I am sure the owners couldn't give two hoots either way what anyone else thinks and at the end of the day that's all that matters. Simon.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Didn't Larry Ellison build a home theater using a drained pool as a massive subwoofer?

I think that they have completely destroyed the true essence and beauty of the speaker.
in addition, it is not designed for such conditions.

Condensation, humidity, temperature fluctuations, heat is unbearable when the frame is lowered.
Full nonsense and ugly from my point of view.

and ..if you check Bl 90 and youtube video for BL5 ...

is the same surroundings of the pool and probably the same owner.

Well, hopefully his mistress is as expensive and worth the price!

An excellent point about the environment, home electronics are not mil spec hardened for harsh environments, temp, humidity, temperature shock, etc. And there are a lot of electronics in a BL90 that will be vulnerable to failure.

But, hey, maybe that's just pocket change to him.

Jeff

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad
