BV7 to Vero4k

Hello,

I recently purchased a Vero 4k as a media player. It has a built-in IR receiver but also a port (3.5mm jack) for an external receiver.

I currently use the PUC blaster on my BV7 to send IR to the Vero 4k receiver. However taping an emitter to a receiver seems like an inelegant solution.

Would it be feasible to just use a wire to transmit from jack to jack ?  It seems like it should but I know nothing about IR...

Thanks for any advice and/or information about the B&0 IR blaster.

Hi Scott,

Sending the commands via jack plug is possible. If you look in the BeoIntegration manual I think there are pictures of Oppo Blu-Ray players being controlled that way.
