how can you remove the Beovox P45 grills? They seem to be glued in place...

Some have pegs, Others, as you have found, seem to be glued. I had peg ones as shown on Beocentral.

I have both. But what to do with the glued version if drivers need replacement?
You can lever it off carefully using f.e. a wide spatula.

A wall paper scraper would seem the tool of choice?
Thanks for the hints. I did it yesterday. Not really I'm too eager doing again. The glue holds the cover really very tight. I used a spatula, but found it to be almost impossible to remove the covers without damage. You have to start from the bottom on the sides and then work your way slowly around using leverage very carefully. However, at the very bottom, the wood on which the cloth is mounted is so thin and the glue binds so heavily that it seems like pure chance to remove the wood from the speaker without breaking it. If it breaks, it's not too bad since it will still hold in place and nobody will notice when re-mounted, but still...
Next problem is that the drivers don't come off now. I have unscrewed but still they sit firmly in place. What to do in this regard?
Nobody ever had that problem yet? Can it be caused by the misaligned magnets? Don't know why, but the drivers do not come off. Totally stuck.

einfach ein bisschen mehr Kraft mit einem kleinen Schlitzschraubenzieher zwischen dem Metalkorb der LS und der Plastik einsetzten und sie kommen raus. Die LS sind nur mit 4 Schrauben befestigt also sie müssen raus

Servus! Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Also: ich habe die LS umgedreht und fest gerüttelt. Die Treiber bewegen sich keinen mm. ICh habe versucht wie Du beschreibst zu hebeln, aber das ist echt gefährlich. Da beschädigt man doch schnell das Plastik. Habe auch versucht in den Löchern der Schrauben zwischen Plastik und Metall der Treiber zu fahren. Ist auch gelungen. Habe wirklich mit Kraft gehebelt und die teile bewegen und biegen sich leicht, sitzen aber immer noch bombenfest. Das einzige was ich erreicht habe ist, dass ich Material vom Metall und Plastik langsam abtrage. Ich bin wirklich schon mit Kraft dran, aber keine Chance. Habe auch schon S45 Tieftöner etc. demontiert und die fallen ja quasi direkt raus. Aber diese bei den P45 sitzen bombenfest. Ich komme mir total dämlich vor, aber da war das Demontieren der verklebten Abdeckungen ein Kinderspiel dagegen. Und das war schon ziemlich doof. Weiß jemand, woran das liegen kann?

Same here on Beovox 2702, grills are glued, no pegs ... Beovox 3702 have also this not so user friendly grill fixation solution, few other beovox types too...
I am using the slightly modified (read: bent) IKEA part which is used for back fixation between two wall mounted cabinets (I think the model is called BESTA).

komisch, die LS sind tatsächlich nur mit den Schrauben befestigt. Außer jemand hat bei deinen sie schon Mal draußen gehabt und beim Wiedereinbauen sie auch geklebt... Hier habe ich meine Fotos durchgesucht und ein paar von dem letzten Ausbau der TT gefunden. Wie schon geschrieben, fahre einfach mit dem dünen Schlitzschraubenzieher dort rein, wo der rote Pfeil zeigt...
... und wie du auf diesem Foto sehen kannst (wenn die TT bereits ausgebaut sind), liegen die TT einfach auf ihrem Platz, ohne Kleber oder andere Befestigungen...
Thanks, Igor. I have now done it. Problem is that there are at least two versions of the P45. An old one with glued on grills and some sort of rubber beneath the woofers. And a new one with mounting pegs and foam beneath the woofers. The old version is really not convenient to work on. The white rubber beneath the woofers over the years becomes like glue. I needed two screwdrivers angled from different positions to finally get them off. It's very easy to break something given the amount of force necessary to leverage under the drivers. However, it ultimately worked. I have now swapped drivers and they all seem to be working. P45s do have a surprising amount of bass given the construction. And I haven't placed them on the wall yet. A very good value for money speaker just like the S45s. However, I'd go for the newer version any day since they are much easier to work on. And S45s are less likely to be in need of work. P45s will always need work since it's rather unlikely that all four woofers still function as they should.
