The Beolab 50's are quite big as we all know and the best sound quality can be achieved if they have a bit of breathing space on the back. Unfortunately my room is not extremely big and on normal use they are fine just almost against the back wall.

But sometimes I want to go all the way and have them about a meter to the front.

They are extremely heavy and I was wondering if I could place a small set of wheels underneath so I can roll them forward. But what will be the impact on the quality of sound if I have these wheel underneath?

Hi Peter,

I know that Beolab 90 has a moving trolley, which can be purchased from your dealer to allow those speakers to be easily moved as required - I wonder if there is something similar for Beolab 50?

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.

Great suggestion, thanks Steve.

I was not aware of their existence and will ask B&O directly. My dealer was already struggling to find the calibration microphone for the 50's ;-)

A cracking set of results. I would urge anyone to read the “presentation” on the investor website (assuming one is not inclined to read the full accounts).

The transition to a monobrand is explained pretty clearly as are the aims and financial targets of the business.

Difficult to find any negatives although I’m confident sone will tryWink

Oops. Not had any beer. Maybe that’s the problem.
