Hi,

Can you use the Apple 87W Power Adapter that comes with a Macbook Pro to charge the Beolit 17's and H9i headphones. I am not clear about what you can and can't do with USB C charging and some say it depends on the product standards and circuitry.

Thank You

Hi Warra and welcome to Beoworld,

you are right, the USB-C confusion depends on
- product standards
- circuitry
- suitable cables!

The power supply and the device that needs to be charged negotiate which charging current and current could be applied between the two.
So you have to try on your own. As Apple seems not the type of company that abides to agreements I wouldn't be surprised if their power adapter only charges their own products with full power. ;)

Hi Warra

Sure, that works!  At home, I'm charging my H9i with the USB-C Macbook Pro 13" adapter and it work fine.
