Beosound 9000 MK2 Door Issue

I have Beosound 9000 which stopped reading CD for few month now.
After spinning about 2mm each time unit would go into stand by mode. (tried laser cleaning).
Assuming this is known Laster issue I let unit alone since I barely use it.
Yesterday decided to check it again. I removed it from floor stand, placed it flat on the table and adjusted position screws. When tried to load CD I notice that glass door would stop half way. I had to help it in order to open door fully.

I'm guessing door belt can be adjusted/replaced?
Could this be relevant to CD issue?

Unfortunately, there is no belt. Just motor and gear, which comes as one unit. Not sure, whether B&O is still providing these. The unit alone cost above 400 Euros some time ago. Won't be an inexpensive fix, I guess. Again unfortunately, I don't think that the CD issue has got anything to do with it.

Door belt needs replacing, spare part is still available from Bang&Olufsen and this most probably will solve the door issue but has nothing to do with the faulty laser which needs replacing as well
