Hi all,
I recently picked up a Beocord 9000 cassette deck. All of the functions seem to work fine except for the auto calibration. I say "seem" to work fine because I am waiting to receive a 5pin Din to RCA adapter so I can try recording. All of my listening is via the headphone jack. Anyway if I take a brand new tape and try to auto calibrate it, the lights flash but it never stops calibrating. If I then listen to the tape I can hear test tones but they are only recorded in the left channel. I have worked on the Nakamichi's in the past but this is my first Bang & Olufsen . I have cleaned the heads and installed new belts. The deck plays fine and sounds fantastic with pre-recorded tapes.
Any thoughts or suggestions as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Goodrat
