To be fair,  this is probably the type of project designed to raise the profile of the company. They will not sell many but other models in the range will bask in their glory!

Precisely my thought when I heard about McIntosh's new $3,000 version of Beoplay A8.   $1,000 for the iDevice dock and $2,000 for the iconic ice blue meters no doubt..

BTW, have you noticed that more and more manufactures produced their stereo equipment with no CD, not even radio on. Only to digital stream and inet. Is there change coming, is radio going to be a marginal source?

The price of Kef Muon is around 100,000€. Only 100 pairs in the World.
