I ran across an app on the iPad today called mediola a.i.o. remote. It speaks of controlling RF and infrared controlled devices from anywhere in the world.

I went to their web page but it is not in English. I did a search under products for "olufsen" and a product came up that referenced B and O and 455khz.

Was wondering if this might be something that could be used to control B and O via an iPad for those without a Masterlink Gateway or Beovision 11.

Here's the brochure in English. http://www.mediola.de/support/mediola-flyer-engl.pdf

. Looks like a IR gateway device. Not as fully functional as a ML Gateway as it cannot put messages on the ML bus. There is a B&O version that supports 455Khz IR. For what you are asking for - yes, it should work.
