Hi just a quick question I have a BesSound 8 which I throughly enjoy but wanted to to play my music wirelessly or via bluetooth every now and then.

I know I can get a airport express and then wirelessly stream but has any fitted one of those bluetooth receiver and would recommend it,

You can just use any of the better Bluetooth adapters or even a headset adapter.

I would recommend to buy a Bluetooth Adapter from a quality brand!

- SonyEricsson
- Logitech
- Blackberry
- ...

Personally I use a SonyEricsson MW600 on the road and you can connect it locally to your Beosound 8, too. It is called "Hifi Headset" from SonyEricsson and is very cheap as there is a new model on the market. Available in black and white. Displays the Track title etc. and line out is really powerful.
But: Beware that bluetooth audio has not the same quality as an oldschool cable connection. :)

Hi,

I have both the above mentioned ericsson MW600 and the logitech "wireless bluetooth adapter"

The MW600 I use as bluetooth adapter for music in my car, it works really nice,  but remember that you will not be able to use it as you charge it. it will only run on battery.

The Logitec is wonderfull, I streem music from my iMac with built in bluetooth. and I can't hear any nois or issues with sound. highly recomended and even cheaper than the MW600. Be whear to not buy the belkin equivalent, it has pour sond and noise introduced.

I use belkin P40 BT receiver. Works like a charm. I just wish I waited for the Airplay equipped BS6

I would go for a BT 3.0 receiver with APT-X support - especially with lossless files.

If you don't need Bluetooth 3.0 I can recommend the Nokia MD-310 which is available in black and white and features NFC.

I choosed the white one:

Thank you for posting this TWG; I really like the look of  this Nokia puck (I have always had a soft spot for their none phone products) and have just ordered one up.

After reading some reviews on the 310 I stumbled onto their 360 Portable Speaker, now this is how I wanted my Beolit 12 to connect.

Agree Airport Express is impressive and I use it as the backbone at my home but I am a sucker for gadgets. I helped fund this on "Kickstarter" http://paulcocksedgeshop.com/products/the-vamp, although I have no real use I just had to have it.

I have a cupboard full of "just in cases"!

Hi Chris, what cables do you use to connect from airport express to a b&o ( in my case a beo2300 ) ?  Do you connect it to bs8 via the DIN? I'm not sure what cables I would need to connect from airport express to the beo2300 DIN ?  Thanks for your help.

Sorry to bring back an old post.  I purchased a Bluetooth adapter / dongle / puck / thing that I plugged in to the 30 pin adapter, but i'm having trouble.

I tried this adapter in a Sony CD clock radio and selected dock as my source and works perfectly

I plug it in to the BS8 and however it doesn't want to work.  It's like the BS8 doesn't know which source to use.  There is no other connections in the back of the BS8, so is there a way to select the adapter as a source?

Thanks in advance.
