What do you think to a pair of lab 8000's coupled with a beolab 2 vs the penta 2's that I already have?
Cheers Nick

I, too have both Pentas and BeoLab 8000 speakers and have found it best to use them in different rooms. The BL-8000s have a more crisp sound because of the smaller tweeter design, but don't have the mids and lows of the Pentas. I have found that by slightly boosting the treble on my Pentas, I can somewhat match the crisp sound of the 8000s. If both speakers are on a shared system in the same room, the Pentas would have to be your front speakers, and your rears, the 8000s, are always going to sound slightly more crisp, which may or may not work.
BeoLab 5, BeoVision 7-55 MK2, BeoSound 5 Encore, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, BeoLab 7-6, BeoSound 8, BeoTime (analog clock), Beo 4 remote.
