Hi guys, has anybody integrated the new V1 B&O telly into his setup? Because it does not have a master link, someone is not a able to connect any BeoSound to the telly. I think, the only way is to connect each of the front and rear speaker to the power link socket of the DSS of the V1. Because each BeoLab has 2 power link sockets, it is possible to connect each speaker to the V1 and to the BeoSound. If you listen to the music, you will have not the setup options of the DSS of the telly (speaker mode, distance setup). And I think, you have to be very careful to use only one signal. I think if you listen to music and you press by mistake the start button of the B&O remote, your BeoLab will say "bye-bye". Or is there a better solution?

I have a V1 setup after previously owning a BS3000 and BC2. My solution was to get rid of them as the V1 makes them redundant. You can always plug an analogue source into the V1s AUX in (I am thinking about doing this with a BeoGram turntable) - I'm not sure it's a good idea to plug multiple sources into the same BeoLab speaker - somebody more knowledgable may correct me!

Maybe Steve from Sounds Heavenly has the answer regarding multiple sources in BeoLab speakers?
In similar situations we have used this;

I also use a bosscom power link switch connecting my my Beolab 8000 to both the V1 and Beosystem 7000. Very simple solution that works very well.
Anybody how tried to implement a Loewe telly with B&O front and rear speakers? The sample from the data sheet look very interesting.
Hi Hotknife,
Yes, I've produced a few cables for Loewe stores recently which convert from the Loewe D-Sub Audiolink socket to give Powerlink outputs for Beolab speakers. This was an interesting project, but Christmas was so busy that I've not had a chance to list them on my website yet......
In general terms, Beolab speakers work best with only one input connected (Beolab 5's are the notable exception here) and it is best to avoid having Powerlink and Line inputs plugged in at the same time. Regularly switching each speaker between L/R and Line mode to change inputs can quickly wear out the switches, so not to be recommended.
The first port of call is normally to look at the devices that you wish to connect and check if one of them has an Aux input that will allow it to link to the speakers whilst accepting inputs from your other sources. This is usually the simplest and neatest solution.
If anyone is looking at connecting multiple inputs to a pair of speakers, please feel free to email me with the details of the devices that you wish to connect and I'm always happy to suggest a solution.
Kind regards, Steve.
Steve.
