Beolab 8000 why mine has chrome feet?

I brought these Beolab 8000's on eBay anyone know why they have chrome feet?

Also one speaker is very very low on volume I can only hear something when I put the volume full on Beocenter 9500.

I think someone has been very busy giving the feet a chrome look. It has never been an option from Bang & Olufsen, as far as I know.

Regarding the sound, try changing the BeoLab 8000 to the other channel. If the problem is the same, it is probably the BeoLab. If the problem is gone, there is a big chance it is the BeoCenter or the Powerlinkcable.

I fixed it! Its the switch at back left / right.

Another thing I must add this modern B&O is rubbish sound quality. Its same speakers as Beovision avant same tweeter same bass reflex tunnel up vertical, slightly different woofers.

I put on my wooden Beovox S50 and there is no comparison the Beolab 8000's are utter rubbish, fake bass.

Maybe the Beolab 8000's were speacially ordered? They come to me from a million pound mansion with Beovision 5.

Now I am wondering why my Beovox S50 are black! This is proffessional paint not amatuer.

The rich keep getting ripped off ans they don't mind it.

Beovision 5 - £13,000

Beolab 8000 - £3,500

Beovision Avant £5,000

Now I cant get rid of them if I gave them free to my friends already tried doesn't work.

EsaChica, if you thought the Beolab 8000 were bad, wait until you hear the Beolab 18; extra, total trash. Whats worse, is that they went ahead an added an acoustic lens, i mean, can you believe THAT?!

Nice chrome feet by the way. Looks like a good job too. Beolab 8000s usually sound pretty good, maybe the chrome feet did something to the sound?

Sarcasm aside, the feet job actually looks pretty well done.
