Seeking some general advice on home automation.

i have been playing with various pieces of home automation but getting lost with the various ‘standards’. Ideally I would like to bring everything under one app and was holding out for HomeKit equipment.  Then I stumbled across BLGW on this forum and despite having a house full of B&O I didn’t know about this product.

The equipment I am looking to bring in includes electric gates, cctv, alarm, lights, heating and my b&o gear. Is BLGW the perfect route to follow?  Where can I go for a guide on how to accomplish this and which products are compatible?

Any advice welcome...

Have a look at the beointergration site:

https://beointegration.com/

The knowledge base is a good place to start. There is lots of info on this site as well.

BLGW is perfect for you.

Work backwards. That’s what I did.

Check what system are compatible with the BLGW for your: cctv, alarm, lighting, heating etc. And there are many options now out there...

I personally did not include my alarm system in the BLGW just in case my network was hacked but I did include my cameras... πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
