I very much like the choice of Calm Radio, really a unique set of stations to provide a bit of auditive harmony and serenity into your home.

Sadly, TuneIn stopped supporting adding of custom station URLs so B&O products are locked out of it. It did affect other vendors too, but now I see that practically all - apart from B&O - have developed their own solution. Denon has it, Naim has it, Yamaha, Bluesound, Cambridge Audio too... as well as the Playstation. Needless to say, Sonos is supporting it too.

That leaves B&O as the only vendor with no solution. Such a pitty. Did any forum member found a workaround in the meantime perhaps? I am doomed now with a free version that is interrupting the stream frequently to advertise subscription... ...which I would gladly pay for if B&O wouldn't be the only AV vendor with no solution for their customers.

Confused

Since when?

I’m not at home now, so I can’t check for mines, but if confirmed, that’s a bad new...

Do you mean you can’t add any new custom radio AND also the already registered don’t work anymore?

Not sure what you mean?

I did a search in TuneIN and there are several Calm Radio stations available.

Making one or more of these favourites there should allow listening on my Essence.

Which B&O (device) do you have in mind?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

This is a free stream, and I'm playing it too.

What is not available is the premium, paid stream without interruptions for advertisments and in higher bitrate at 320kbps. So if I subscribe to Calm Radio I cannot listen to the premium stream on B&O devices because of the TuneIn lockout and unlike with other brands B&O does not provide an alternative. Broken Heart

It’s about custom URL, not the radios listed by TuneIn.

Note that to add a custom URL you need to use the TuneIn app

Note that it’s not possible to add a custom URL on all the OS

So if one would add a custom url as per the instructions in your link, it would not appear under favorites in e.g B&O app?

I did add custom URLs and they are (were ?) accessible in the B&O app.

That’s why I’m worrying... (I can’t check now)

I tried to add a custom link I found on the internet. It did appear in the app after a while but it did not play on my BeoSound 1.
