Hello

my old Beovision 6 is currently used by my daughter. They are using it a.o. to stream music from a Chromecast Audio, by connecting the Chromecast to the PC or the Camcorder inputs.

Yesterday, they moved into a new apartment. After the move, the BV6 no longer plays any sounds through these inputs. Sound from the TV source is still ok.

Any ideas how we can resolve this?

Feedback much appreciated! Even when the BV is almost 15 years old (it was one of the first BV6-26's), my daughter and her boyfriend prefer the looks an the sound of this TV to buying a new one! So, I would love to get this problem resolved

regards

Jan

Given that neither BV6 input is working, I would suspect the Chromcast audio output or connection cable.

Have you tried:

- A new cable?

- Connecting another device with an audio output (eg phone)?

Failing this, you could always use one of the TV's SCART sockets as an audio input, with a suitable adapter.

Did you check if the Beovision may have forgotten its settings?

Hello TWG

According to me all settings look ok. Which settings would you look at?

the connections menu where you set up sources.

Did you connect an RCA / cinch cable to the corresponding input of the Beovision / Beocenter?

On some variants audio input will only activated when you choose "PC" as a source.
