Hi,

Attached the schematic.

I would like 2 audio zones.

One with the BL7-BS9000 and BL3 (bottom)

The second one with the Beolink active and the second BL3.

But I wouln'd install the IR eye.

Does it work ?

Thanks

I am not sure if I fully understand what you are trying to achieve!  Are you hoping that the BL active will be triggered by the 'link mode' Beo4 via the IR sensor in the BV7?  As far as I am aware, in a masterlink system you cannot activate a 'link room' from the audio/video master (except to turn the whole system off with a long press on the power button).

As far as I know the active will need an IR eye.  Why not simply fit one?

EDIT: Of course you will also need an IR eye to put the active in the required OPTION setting.

Right !!

Because I need some place to hide it !

Of course but the idea was to remove it after setting! But your first answer close the idea !!!

Thanks Guy !!

No problem!

The Beo4 IR transmission is strong enough that I am sure you could put the remote eye out of sight, perhaps just below the top of a cabinet, or behind a picture/ornament.

Failing that, perhaps simply run additional Powerlink cables from the BV7 to the two extra BL3s, and then control them via the various sound modes of the TV.

You can run an active kit without an IR eye with the use of a ML or BL Gateway. You will still need the IR eye to configure the active kit and identify the product to the Gateway you use. After that initial setup you can then remove the IR eye and use it with out one. You will have to use the BeoLink or BL2 app to control it going forward.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there
