hi,

anyone have recommendations ions for a usb Bluetooth adaptor? I’ve tried a CSR-based one, but there aren’t any drivers for winCE.

Hi Frog,

perhaps you can use an external aptx-compatible Bluetooth receiver connected to that ultra cheap Behringer USB audio interface (Behringer UCA222). The Beomaster 5 should work out of the box with that interface.

If you are an iOS user there is no need for APT-X support.

Look for one with AAC support.

If you ‘are afraid of’ the D/A conversion in a BT receiver look for one with an optical out for connecting to the Behringer UCA.

The NuForce BTR-100 is one example.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thanks, but what I'm really looking for is just a working bluetooth dongle for guests. I already use Shairport for my iPhone/ipad - and i'm not too bothered about quality.
