I have an A9 MkII that is making a clicking sound typically once every night. The unit is on standby and the left light is not lit. Music has not been playing for a long time and there is nothing in the queue. Yet I wake up to hear a series of maybe 3 notes, sort of like in an Asian elevator. Any ideas as to what might be happening?

Thanks!

Well American elevators typically sound just a single note, but some elevators in Asia crank out a few notes to give you a notice.

Just a thought, but my M5 makes a „plop „plop“ sound when it reconnects to the network. Could it be that your modem disconnects and reconnects once a day? Mine does every night around 1 a.m.

I get a loud “plop” “plop” sound from my A9 late at night, between 1am and 2am. Iv been wondering why. It just sound like the house cooling down after a hot day sort of snapping sound, but hollow sounding. I thought it just might be the frame of the house, but it always comes right from where the A9 is. 🤔🤔

Well, I also heard a sound from my A9, and your description of plop, plop seems reasonable.

Well I also heard my A9 emit a sound last night which "plop plop" seems like a reasonable description thereof.

At least on e.g A6 you can turn off those sounds in the settings menu of the speaker. But then you turn off all "feedback sounds". I have all my speakers without that "feedback sound".
