Hi everyone,

Has anyone got a BeoVision 11 with BeoLab 5's? The reason I ask is that I have ordered a pair of BeoLab 5's for my lounge and really like the idea of a BeoVision 11, but i am concerned that I may end up being able to hear the BeoLab 5's more than the TV - i know you can set the distances and levels etc and that I can drop the BeoLab 5 level by 6db etc, but it is a small room and all the adjustments in the world sometimes don't account for the way things actually sound - so I thought I would see if any fellow BeoWorlders could share their experience? The alternative would be a BeoVision 7 where I am confident the BeoLab 7.4 would be fine as I had this set up previously with BeoLab 9's.

Hi Martin, I know this was in 2012. However, can you connect a beolab 5 with beovision 11 directly with a powerlink? do they both have a powerlink 8 pins port?

No problems there - just use the right RJ45/PL to DIN/PL adapter/cable.

Your dealer or Steve from Sounds Heavenly can provide this.

B&O use the BL90'es with the Avant - so why not not use the BL5's?

Should have written: 'so why not use the BL5's with a BV11?'
