Hello Beoworlders.

I've got a couple of marks on the black cast iron bases of my Lab 8000s. Contact with a vacuum cleaner has rubbed through the black coating. Does anybody have any experience of touching these kind of marks up with a bit of paint or black shoe polish even?

Thanks!

Jonathan

Thanks Dennis!

One of these days I'll start searching the archived forum before asking an obvious question that's been answered ages ago.. ;)

Tempted to go for the respray technique but I'm not that confident in my ability. Would hate to make a hash of things!

Black liquid shoe polish. Even coat and leave to soak in, lightly buff off once dry, look mintWink
