Hi beopeople,I have a question regarding the Beomaster Control Module (remote control for Beomaster 2400).This week on Wednesday I got the matching battery (ordered on amazon, Varta V74PX 15V 45mAh).I own one BM2400 and two matching remotes for a while and I finally wanted to try these remotes if they are functional. And yes, I had a luck, both passed the test, all buttons were fine. I let the battery inside of one of the remotes and went to sleep. But then, yesterday, I wanted to switch the BM2400 again via remote and it didn`t work?!I tried both remotes again and both didn`t work. The simplest logic conclusion said to me:- BM2400 worked- Both remotes worked* now both are not working -> it must be a battery. I took the voltmeter and measured the voltage on the battery. But surprisingly the voltage was OK (15,25V).What is here wrong???Unfortunately I don't have another battery to test the whole thing again and wanted to ask you for tips. What can I try in the meantime till the next battery arrives?Could this battery (it was new) in one night in remote go empty?! (the test shows it is not really the problem...)Which kind of batteries do you use for this remote?Thx for your tips in advance...

If I am not wrong, you Soren have a BM2400. Do you have a remote too?
Did you have this problem? Which battery are you using?
It seems more likely that it's the receiver in the Beomaster that's intermittant. You could try using an aerosol air blaster, the type of thing used for cleaning camera's.Spray it into the receiver orifice of the Beomaster.Dust can collect inside and affect the response of the sensor which is a ceramic plate.Otherwise, you may have an intermittant electronic problem with the receiver circuit?

Thank you solderon for your advice, I tought also, it could be something with the receiver of the Beomaster. But....
The whole think became now even more confused ...
I picked up another BM2400 an the way tp home from friend of mine and it still does not work!?
I think it must be the battery but the voltage on it confusing me...
