I have here an MMC20 E in original packing, it comes from the B&O shop in Grenå DK, the the shop was closed and or sold into the Expert Radio chain, my friend Guy Marcus's father was the owner, as Guy had a BG with this type of pickup, he saved it from the inventory, he got married  to a Mexican girl and moved to Mexico, he gave away the BG but kept the MMC20 E and as we came to talk about my hobby, he told me about the pickup.

So here it is for sale.

I have no TTs for it, does not fit BG 1202,2404, 5000 or TX2, I tried to put it into the 50CD and not even there, would be nice to play 45s on the CD50Big Smile

I suspected as much.

Absolutely, but at the moment I want to get a MMC4 for my newly bought TX2, using the sale of the MMC 20 for that, I have to keep some kind balance here, if I buy a SMMC4 from Soundsmith without selling something the FS will kill me, or worse, select the fabric for my P45s.Sad

In that case, PM me a shipping address and I'll lend you my spare MMC4.

Amazing offer Rich, and greatly appreciated, but I just cant do it.

I have a lot of children all ages frequently visiting, and until now it only cost me some near heart attacksSmile, and count to 10 before blowing a gasket, not to speak of our maid, who destroyed one MMC4, dusting. I tried putting small stick it notes, like, NO TOQUE, NO ABRE, that didn¨t work, I dont know if she can readSad, I then put on my angry face and explained it to her in a not too soft voice, with the result that she called in sick for 3 days.

I really appreciate the offer, just shows what Beoworlders do for each other, thank you.

My kids, when they were about one and a half and two and a half, destroyed my first MMC4:  the original I bought with my first RX2 back in about 1989.  About three and a half years later, and I'm about to set up a stereo in their bedroom for the first time.

Let me know if you change your mind.

How about now?  You must have that TX back home from TX by now.

Yeah, saw the other thread.  Good luck with getting it back up.

My spare MMC4 is still sitting unused, and I've boxed up one of my RX2's.....so I now have two MMC4's sitting unused.  Are you sure you don't want to borrow one?

Thank you Rich, but no thanksBig Smile, I have something good by Axel and this TX2 came with a MMC2 with a broken needle, I will ship the MMC2 to Axel and then get a MMC4 from him, The TX I will restore and test with one of the MMC4s I have here. I really dont need it, just bought it because I didn´t have a tangential and because of  the elegant design. For daily use I have my BG 5000, and the BG 2404, the BG 1202 get cranked  up once a week.

Very nice of you to offer me your MMC4

NO MORE FOR SALE, I WILL KEEP IT AS A COLLECTORS ITEM.

AS IT IS IN THE ORIGINAL PACKING I CANT TEST IT, SO I DONT KNOW IF IT WORKS, AND I DONT WANT TO SELL SOMETHING BAD TO A FELLOW BEOWORLDER.
