Hi all

Just a quick question, my beogram 1202 when set to automatic cue is beginning the record half way through, is this just a unbalanced tone arm issue??

Thanks

No it isn’t. Just set it on 30.

Hi again Jacques! Wink

The TT is set to 30 but keeps starting play in the middle of the record?

Then something is off. Was the tonearm forced at some point?

What does it do on 25 and 17?

Automatic is not a setting. Thats just a label.

turn the knob clockwise to 30cm and Press lift.

It’s possible that the tone arm was forced in the past as I haven’t long had the TT, will see what it does at 25 and 17 and get back to you probably won’t be till tomorrowWink

Is the tonearm parallel to deck side when in rest position

It may be parallel to the deck, but not to the decks right side, adjust it according to the manual

Get the manual, available for silver and gold members, and do all the adjustments, and if not changed get a new belt from Dillen on this forum

Platter highs or center bad adjusted, transport screws, something below the platter in bad position, too tight new and not original belt. If the deck wasnt serviced before, it is time to do it, open the deck (manual) clean and lubricate all mechanical parts, clean and adjust all contacts, and then do all adjustment according to manual

Here a thread with some pics (some missing)
