Hey, Guys!

I'll be happy with any help I can get.  When starting my BM5500, I get static, low volume with no bass.  When you turn it off and on again, it works fine.  You can also adjust the volume and you'll get a loud pop and then it'll work.  I've replaced the three largest capacitors in the power supply, I've replaced both relays including the muting one (muting works fine).  The relay in the power supply made an odd noise when turning off and the inside was covered with white crud, so I replaced it hoping that was it.  I've also replaced the lithium back-up battery.  Nothing has changed it.  It also does the same thing when using headphones (if that means anything).

I searched through the forums and and found one other mention of it: (https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/4073/36187.aspx#36187)

But the original poster didn't say what, if anything, finally worked for him.

Thank you for assistance!!!

Phillip
