Dear all,

I have one question about the 3 beosound system in masterlink connection. Let me give the case:

ROOM1: Main room with Beosound 9000 option 1;

ROOM2: Link room with Beosound 3000 option 6;

ROOM3: Link room with Beosound 4 option 6;

All beosound system has the beolab speakers to connected; Now the question is: can I hear ROOM2 (beosound 3000)' s CD sound in ROOM3?

I think the link room product can only get the sound from Main room - not the music from other link room, right?

But in the Network link enviornment, I think such requirement is possible - we can hear any room' s music in any room, right? - Because we can use the smart phone to get the great control - which is not possible from Beo4.

Thanks for your input!

Daniel

In a masterlink system, a link room can only play local sources and the master source.  Therefore, room 3 cannot play any sources from an option 6 beosound (room 2).

With NL, there is no concept of "master".  One source can simply join another (except with Spotify is being played, then the limitation is that both devices must be Spotify capable).
