Hi,

I purchaced a BV7-32 MK3.

It will be fitted with a Cisco IPTV box connected via Scart (audio) and DVI.

The Cisco IPTV box will be controlled via Lintronic 5.1 which is receiving the B&O commands via Datalink (pin 8) from Scart.

Tested and working just fine.

Both boxes can be beautifully hidded behind the TV however I would like to avoid having power adaptors for those two boxes as well.

They are both powered with 12V DC. If I remember correctly total Amp is approx. 2A.

Is there any easy way to open the BV7 cabinet and get 12V from a connector inside the BV7. I think that would be a very elegant solution with less cable mess.

Preferrable I would also like to get 5V DC to power some USB slots... Just to be future proof.

Kind Regards

Ravsted

Rather than go inside the BV7, I would be tempted to purchase a small/neat PSU and then provide a power supply from a Y-shaped power lead like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Splitter-Lead-Cable-UK-3-Pin-Plug-to-2-x-IEC-C7-Y-Cable-Dual-Power-Cable-Black/163276077834?epid=24011372897&hash=item2604033b0a:g:jQ8AAOSwX8da9SrH

I second Guy's answer. Thats what I did but with a triple one to power an Apple TV, an Airport Express hidden behind my recently acquired Beocenter 6.

That's just two wires out behind the stand: one power and and network, all tied in a sock.

I would not venture into taking power from inside the TV.
