I have a Beosound 3000, Beosound 5, BV10 and BV7 connected by Masterlink. Because the 3000 and the 5 are in the same room as the 10, I need to have the 10 as the Master video, to enable turning the speakers on that are connected to the 10 using the Beosound 5 controls. As a result, the BV7 must be set to option 6 and that removes the play timer from the BV7. The only option is play timer on or off to be controlled by an audio or video master.

I would like to have a play timer active and controlling the BV7. I set a play timer in the Beosound 3000 for SAT which is the available option in the 3000. It works perfectly for the BV10 and turns it on just as programmed.

However, with the BV7, it turns on to TV, not DTV.

I always thought that SAT and DTV were the same for B and O remote purposes. Is there some way to get the BS3000 timer to turn on the 7 to DTV as it does with the 10?

Thanks in advance.

For some reason the initial question was held up in moderation. During the lengthy delay, I solved the problem.
