I have a Beomaster 2400 that I'm restoring. All of the slider controls were missing, so I was able to get a donor unit which still had all the controls. Thanks so much to Martin Dillen, I was able to rebuild the controls and they work perfectly. However I noticed that the unit I'm restoring has a 50K Bass control, whereas the donor unit has a 20K Bass control. The unit I'm restoring has a Tone/Tuning board #8002283 and the donor unit has a Tone/Tuner board #8002342. There are also some slight differences in the tone control circuit as well. Does anyone know what the story is behind these two Tone/Tuning boards? I looked at the board for a Beomaster 1900 and it shows the 50K Bass control, so is the 20K control version newer?
