Really Leslie. I have had those knobs lying around for years, and didn't know they might be Beo's.

where do you find all these B&O oldies?
you must have a airplane garage to store all your things we are seeing here everyday...
I have my friends and relatives....
you must have lot of them
Cleaned all the knobs, plastic parts and buttons this evening and removed speakers from the wooden case.
Scales I will save for the last!
So inspirational to see all this dedication towards old gear
What are you using for cleaning these plastic knobs and fronts Leslie?
Are you using any chemicals or is it only water?

Just dishsoap with some water and let it soak for a day! Then brush it of with a sponge.
Next step...
hey,
you have also 3 main power units!!!
how mutch?
Sorry but for the moment I would like to keep these to complete at least 3 units.
FYI, I've exchanged my Minette with these Beo 610 units....
I was thinking of making the power supplies housing myself in exactly the same size and looks!
You got 6 Beos for 1 Minette! Good deal for you I would say. But also lot to do as we can see...
Do you have one pic of this minette maybe? Was it rosewood or teak?
No, 5, I had another one myself with a damaged scale and incomplete. I hope I can make 3 out of 6 complete. To be exact, 2 complete including the antenna!
Regarding wood type, ask my friend and member "ipaul".
you see, you want to make 2 comlpleted and you have 3 power units
so you have one for me
Who knows, will think of you my dear
Hi Leslie, did you get further with your project "3 Beo's out of 6"?Did one power unit remain for me?I am stil looking for it....
Waiting till spring comes, then I can do my things outside in the garden
