I have a pair of Beolab 50's connected through RCA to my Marantz SR8012 amplifier.

It worked well untill I wanted to do a mic calibration. The speakers stopped responding after I put the mic in.

Ok, so I pulled out the mic but now I cannot get the speakers to work anymore. They do not play music and the app cannot find them either. Not even after 2 factory resets.

Since I cannot find a proper setup manual I am wondering if you could help?

This is what I have as a setup:

- Connected the Master to the slave with a network cable. Powerlink in master, network on slave

- RCA in on the Master speaker as Front Left and Front right speaker

- No cabled network connection to my home network, I use WiFi

Please help me with a proper Factory Reset and config setup and sequence.

Many thanks, much appreciated

Peter

Is this the guide, you are looking for - seems to be quite ‘proper’.

I am not quite sure, what you mean with that cabling....

....but the guide should tell you, what is right (or wrong) there.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Pffff it works again.

I have connected the two speakers with a network cable not using the Powerlink connector, just the network connector.

I have done a factory reset 3 times and finally it worked again.

No idea what solved it but it took me the best part of an afternoon to solve everything

Happy that it works again.
