I just use a home jar vacuum sealer and it works.

Here is how I did my last BG 3000 (like the 1202) repair but I don't have pictures of the sealing process.

FoodSaver T03-0023-01 Wide-Mouth Jar Sealer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00005TN7H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_tvB6BbDNDGCFH

If I were to purchase again I might look for a different option for the handheld sealer part. This one is a little underpowered with poor batter life for daily jar sealing use but I’ve done at least 5 sets of bearing with good results with this combo.

I use a syringe. i put the bearings in the syringe together with some very thin oil, put my finger on the hole and pull. The baering will start to bubble. Easy and works very well.

will try the cheap option first, then go the whole hog if it doesn’t work.

That’s a cool idea!
