Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I bought a kit on the internet to have an HD jack on my Bo4.

Can someone help me step by step in the settings to make both video and audio work well? I'm not very experienced but I've seen that there are several service menus for the audio and video settings.

This is the kit I purchased is this:

it's for a bo7 but it should work for a bo4 with some queries. I hope you can help me

Just reformatted your text so it is readible.

Does your screen have a DVI socket? The DVI cable goes in there. The HDMI part in your Receiver or whatever HD device you want to connect.

Make sure it is set to 720 p as Output Resolution.

What Beosystem is driving the screen? I guess a Beosystem 2 - What Type Nr .and Software Version does it have?

Just want to make sure it Can handle HD Material and switch to the DVI socket of the screen.

Basically you need to get a RCA / Cinch to Scart Adapter for Audio for Stereo Sound (I presume you do not have a multple Speaker Setup).

Excuse me for formatting the text but it's the first time in the forum.

Yes, my Beovision 4 has a Dvi port. The tv is driven by a Beosystem 2 I'll write the monitor information:

> 06 IC3 (AP): SW 16.0

> 06 IC2 (IOP): SW 22.0

> 61 IC5 (STB-C): SW 3.6

> 61 IC5 (STB-C): TABLE 3.4

> C32 IC607 (DSM): SW 2.4

EEPROM ver. 050

Type no. 9421 Item no. 1817104

Serial no. 18842928

Master code stored Option 2

As you wrote, no multiple speackers. The configuration allows you to have the hdmi? Thank you

DVI to HDMI cable needed (receiver to screen) and sound via digital coax or Scart to RCA/cinch. Make sure your receiver outputs sound independently.

Check available manuals, reference guide online.
