Hi and thank you for a great forum.

I am new to B&O. I bought my first system now second hand. It is a BV 7 40. it is 2006 so think it is MKII ?

I am experiencing some sound issues.

I have an Apple TV 4K connected through a converter that converts HDMI to DVI and COAX digital audio. The video works fine. The audio is not working. I watched a youtube series with music the sound comes and goes clicks in and out. The voices of people talking is gone but I can hear the music clipping in and out.

My question is.

Could it be something wrong with my converter? (highly unlikely, as some tv shows have clipping in and out sound, and some others have no sound at all)

Is there something wrong with the setup on speaker menu? wrong speaker (see images)

Is there something wrong with the audio in setting on apple tv?

I am happy for all the advice on the matter.

I have tried to upload some images on this thread with no success. The images of my equipment, menu and connections can be found by clicking on my username to see my profile, on my profile the images are visible I think it's a good idea to have a quick look at them.

I can’t see the pictures.

What speaker do you have connected?

Hei Leosgonewild!

Thanks for fast reply. I am trying to upload some images, they will be there soon. I think I have Beolab 7 4  speaker?

I have picked up a 3.5mm jack to 2x phono cable now. Now I have clean sound.

But another issue has occurred. The "voice" of people disappears far away in the sound picture while background music and sounds stay normal. I ran a MONO/STEREO test from youtube the stereo sound sounded normal but the mono sounded like my issue when watching TV. Is there a setting I should change og should the speaker be connected in a different output?

My issue is solved. The issue was the speaker was connected to the wrong output. Hope this thread helps someone in the future.
