Can anyone tell me what the resistance range is for the LDR on this turntable?

Hmmm - checked the service manual, but no range is given - just a figure of 28kOhms (assuming I am looking at the correct item) - as one not too familiar with photoresistors I am still in the dark regarding the necessary range, and am unaware of circuit sensitivity in the 5005 to the range required.

Help!!
