I've been having a few cabling issues with my rear speakers (BeoLab 50s), which I think my dealer and I have now sorted. However, when we were rebooting and rewiring the speakers, they somehow fell off my wireless network and I can't get them back on.
If I try to add the Lab 50s back onto the B&O app, I first get a message saying "Make sure your BeoLab 50 has power — you'll find the power connector in the base of the speaker", then if I click on "Next" an error message saying "Setup Failed — unfortunately, we could not find your product. Please make sure the product, even though they're playing normally through PowerLink.
The dealer from whom I bought them is experiencing exactly the same problem with the shop pair, so would also be interested to know what is going on. I've tried rebooting them and have tried directly connecting them to a wifi extender with an ethernet cable, but nothing seems to work. How do I get them back on my network?
How would I do the two things you suggested?
The Lab 50s are now not working at all, and refuse to switch on along with my TV, even after a reboot.
After several more reboots, the BL50 are now working again and are back on my network. However, for some reason I can't fathom they've forgotten their calibration, which my dealer and I will have to redo.
I have the exact same issue with my BL50. Last time I was away for one week and when I was back my APP could not find the BLs. After a number of reboots they suddenly works and yes the calibration with the all presets are lost, but not the calibrations! I have no idea why or what makes them work again! but I have spend many hours rebooting ...
The trick, from what I can tell, is rebooting both speakers simultaneously. Rebooting just the Master has no effect.
