Hi
Can a Beoremote One BT be paired with Beosound Essence MK2? I have tried without success.
And yes I know I can use it without bluetooth with an IR eye which I do at the moment.
I just tried it, and it works fine. Make sure your Essence MK2 is updated (new sw today).
With the latest software - of today - all ‘connected devices’ can be paired with a BROne/bt.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
It can do both simultaneous. Try a reboot.
Just to clarify, does this include the A6?

I was able to pair with my BS1 and A6 effortlessly. I see that it keeps multiple added products in its list of products. However, it only remains paired with the last product paired. It can't retain the pairing with multiple products.
You CAN however keep multiple remotes paired with a device. For example, keep a BeoRemote One and an Essence remote both paired to an A6.
After the software on the Essence was updated the paring of the Beoremote One worked fine!
This is great. Now I can see the TuneIn stations on the Beoremote One.
But this new setup also raise some questions?
No support for the MyButtons yet!
Will be nice to have that too, imo.
jans: One strange thing I noticed. The remote nicely shows all sources available, except for Spotify. Is this a bug, or is there a good reason why it is not shown as a source on the remote?

Spotify (Connect) is not a built-in source and can not be shown or activated.
In the app you also need to go ‘outside’ to activate music playback from Spotify = use the native Spotify app.
I'm now finding that the BeoRemote One DOES retain the pairing with multiple devices. Maybe it just takes it a moment to establish the connection.
However, I'm finding that the LIGHT/CONTROL commands are not working correctly to forward commands to the BLGW. Monitoring events on the BLGW shows no activity.

I feel like B&O gave us an early Christmas gift. The remote is now so much more useful than it was before. The 2-way list of TuneIn stations is just extremely impressive. I feel like I'll use TuneIn more now because of it. I also now want to replace all of my Beo4 remotes with BeoRemote One remotes.
Regarding MyButtons. It does actually works. Store something in one of the buttons like a TuneIn station. It must be done on the remote then you will it in the app afterwards.
Not all favourite stations are shown on the remote. There must be a maximum number of stations.

Thanks!
That is new to me - my information was that this was left for later.
With which device did you try this out?
I tried with Beosound Essence mk2.

Bought a new Beoremote yesterday and here are some things I discovered while testing:
Probably bugs:
* On BeoPlay M3 + M5 the remote lists ALL sources from connected devices instead of the Local Source List that is used in both the App and for local souce selection* The Music-button on a Beo4-VIDEO product (in my case the V1) directly starts the Radio (so without pressing 'GO'). I don't even want to use the Radio button, but it can't be deleted. I just want Join, but cannot Join current Music-playback because the Radio-button has already switched my M5 to Radio.
Features/good to know:
* You can add TuneIn-stations to the MyButtons* The MyButtons are Product-specific* Light and Control-buttons are programmed as standard on BeoPlay M3 and M5. So I guess you can use the BeoRemote for home control even if you have programmed it with just NL sound products.
Wishlist:
* Better Deezer-control e.g. programming a Playlist/Artist on a MyButton or in a Favorites list so you can have 10 "shortcuts" for selection from the remote (maybe this can be achieved with the BeoIntelligence?)* Programming system-wide MyButtons (e.g. "Kitchen Speaker Join")

Dyssegaard: I have paired my new BeoRemote One BT with my Beoplay M5, and it is possible to save Spotify in a MyBotton. Just press and hold the desired MyBotton for a few seconds when listening to Spotify, and you will be able to activate Spotify Connect again where you left it using that MyBotton.

And what happens, when you in the meantime have activated e.g TuneIn on the M5 - or when you have used Spotify (Connect) on the iDevice with headphones or with another device?

@Dyssegaard
Thanks for clarification (that is really better, than I had expected).
And it is really a big plus for having Spotify Connect on the NL devices.
I can’t understand why they have taken this out of the M3, the BS1/2 GA versions, the Edge and the coming A9/MK3 😕
Is there a limit on Beoremote One on how many favorites from TuneIn that will be shown? On my Beoremote One paired with Beosound Essence I cannot browser through the full list of favourite stations.

It seems it product dependent. BeoSound Core, cannot store mybotton at all, but work with the beoremote one Bt. But BS 1 and M5 work great. Both with Radio and Spotify, that have been tested, i expect Deezer work. (but not tested)
So hopefully it will coming a update to core start of februar. I have send them a request for it.
If more people send in request to them, hire priority they will get.
