Bluetooth adaptor direct connect to powerlink cables mk3?

Hi

I want to find the most simple way to replace a Beosound 2300 with a bluetooth adaptor. What can I choose?

I want to find a active version of the Hall Audio 2x8 to passive speakers. So simple as that. And I don't want to change the cables, so therefore I want to use the exiting powerlink mk3 din cables.

There must be a more simple way than a Beosound Essence, there must be a Hall Audio 2x8 "active speakers version".

Personally I would go for something with airplay or Chromecast. Bluetooth should be used for headphones only.

But you can put one Chromecast directly next or under the speaker. Use one Chromecast for each speaker and group them together. Tada, wireless Pentas

You'll need a Beolab 2 adaptor with a PL-Y splitter. The BL2 adaptor will allow you to turn the PL cable into RCA as well as trigger the speakers on. From there just connect your source to the cable and away you go. I'm sure Steve from Sounds Heavenly can provide you with it. 

You group them together in the Google home app.

Then they will show up as a single device/group in your music app. Like this.

You are even able to adjust treble and bass from the google app. Each speaker separately

As the Pentas has line in, there is no need for them.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not advocating you use a Beolab 2, but rather the adapter you would buy to connect a Beolab 2 to a non-b&o piece (similar to what you are doing). The adapter has a rca stereo connection and a trigger input for a 5v dc power connection which will turn on your speakers. Which is all you need - signal and trigger to turn on the speakers. The rest will be done from your adapter and source.

Yes, I can help with the trigger cable to activate the speakers into Powerlink mode to allow them to be used with a Chromecast Audio via the existing Powerlink cables.  As Chromecast Audio has a 3.5mm socket fitted, please use this trigger cable and adapter to link to the existing Powerlink cable:-
