Hi,

I just got a Beocom 2 and I can't register it with my Beoline 2. I am using the Beoline 2 with a Beocom  5. I have un-registered the Beocom 5 from the Beoline 2 but still the Beocom 2 cant find the base. Any ideas?

Thanks

Ralf

If your Beocom 2 is mk1 it will not work with Beoline 2 .It  should be possible to have it upgraded. I believe that Beocom 2 mk2 will need a software upgrade to work with Beocom 5.

Thanks Valve,

I guess the the Beocom 2 is a Mk 2, (two lines). Even when the Beocom 5 is not registered to the Beoline 2 base, the Beocom 2 cant connect to the base. Has anyone experienced the same problem or knows what to do?

Thanks

Ralf

The 'Mk2' part of a BeoCom 2 doesn't mean that it can be used with two lines - it's simply the latter variant of the phone.

Even if it is a Mk2, it will most probably need a software upgrade in order to communicate with BeoLine 2 as the latter is a far newer product than the former.
